President Peter Mutharika, in his capacity as head of state and Government of the Republic of malawi today reshuffled his cabinet. The new postings are with immediate effect, according to release from the Chief Secretary to the President and Government, Lloyd Muhara.
The new cabinet is as follows: Henry Mussa: Minister of Trade and Industry; Atupele Muluzi: Minister of Health; Joseph Mwanamveka: Minister of Agriculture; Emmanuel Fabiano: Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Aggry Massi: Minister of Mining and Natural Resources; Anna Kachikho: Minister of Lands and Urban Development; Bright Msaka: Minister of Education, Science and Technology; Kondwani Nankhumwa: Minister of Local Government; Goodall Gondwe: Minister of Finance and Economic Planning; Grace Chiuma: Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Affairs. The President has also appointed Charles Mhango as the new Attorney-General. Meanwhile, it should be noted that the reshuffle affects only the aforementioned. The other members of the cabinet retain their portfolios, for example Dr. Jean Kalilani remains Minister of Gender and Child Welfare. :
